Guide :Boating : Maxxum 70 Freshwater Bow Mount Trolling Motor

Cannot get the throug bolts in the lower unit started.

I had to replace the pole on my Minnkota Maxxum 65lb thrust motor and when I did the wires got twisted inside the lower unit and then came unplugged inside the lower unit. I had to take it apart to get the wire plug back in and now I cannot get the lower unit bolts back in. It is like the two bolts are two short. I am very frustrated.
